Redsky genetics was established in 2007, by Will Christie, Stuart Mullan and Richard Baynes.
With a keen and particular interest in the World’s leading Red and White genetics and in pursuit of developing RC branches of leading Black and White families, several leading names have been purchased since the partnership was formed, and today their elite offering consists of several exceptionally well bred and Internationally renowned families such as Red and White members from families like Dellia (Regancrest), Jodie,(Fradon) Rebecca (Stelbro) and a superb Red Factor heifer from a full sister to Picston Shottle!
Will and Stuart are both well known through their close association with the Paragon ET practise, one of the leading and most experienced Embryo units in the UK, whilst Richard is part of the Marleycote herd which specialises in Red and White bloodlines.
One of the most interesting and promising heifers at Redsky, is that of Overside Elayo Delight Red- the only true Red daughter of Overside Talent Delight who has just scored VG89 with her 2nd calf, and as a heifer produced just under 10,000kgs at 4.09% and 3.5% protein!!!!! Talent Delight is attracting global AI interest and is heavily contracted for bulls for European AI, and she is in fact maternal sister to Overside Dragon and Dictator both extremely popular bulls. Overside Elayo Delight Red looks outstanding and is attracting interest from Europe, she has been flushed and her first embryos by Rubentot sell in the next Eurogenes On-Line embryo sale which runs from Monday 11th- Friday 15th May.
Stelbro Renita Ranger Red EX94 3E 8*- the 2 X Madison Champion is a name synonymous with the Red and White Holstein breed, having produced world renowned sires like Distrigene and Regiment, Redsky have her super Great grand-daughter by Lystel Starfire. Bred from 7 generations of VG or Excellent dams, this exceptionally well grown heifer has embryos available by Classic.
Picston Shottle is undoubtedly a global phenomenon, having dominated the rankings on a world-wide scale, he needs little introduction- Redsky have a Red Carrier dtr by Rampage from Tallent Mtoto Chartreuse EX- Shottles EX full sister, although only young she looks outstanding, and we are really excited about her for the future.
Redsky is also home to some interesting members of the world renowned Jodie family originating from Fradon, in Ontario Canada, we now have 2 Red and White heifer calves on the ground from a Redman dtr of Fradon R Mark Jodie EX, the show-winning daughter of Fradon Rudolph Jodie EX, who is quickly establishing herself as one of the most elite and prolific brood cows of the breed, we also have a Red Carrier Heifer calf by Talent on the ground from the same dam.
